How do you meditate?
There is truly no right or wrong way to approach meditation. The practices of meditation, guided meditation and visualization can be as unique as the individuals who meditate. Take for instance, some prefer to meditate and focus on their breathing as a means to regulate their stress response while others prefer to simply embrace the moment as they allow their bodies to relax and calm to wash over them.
This week we are focusing on the freeform aspects of meditation with a relaxation meditation that is one part serene imagery and the other part relaxing music. We leave it to the view to decide how the meditation will be most useful. Perhaps the music combined with the visual for a window into visualization. If you prefer the music alone, the melody is also a great way to sit comfortably, close your eyes and focus on the breath. If you prefer visualization, then perhaps the images alone are enough to inspire reflection as you set out in your meditation practice.
We at the Wild Divine hope that you find this relaxation meditation useful in your day and practice. Namaste
